These rules have been established by Konashidaira Campground as the facility manager to ensure that all guests can enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.
Konashidaira Campground welcomes guests who understand and agree to use the facility at their own responsibility, while being mindful of the potential risks that come with being surrounded by nature.
In this natural environment, there are various risks such as encounters with wild animals (including bears and monkeys), falling trees caused by strong winds, sudden gusts, lightning, getting lost, and theft.
Located within Kamikochi, this campground cannot guarantee complete safety.
While we make every possible effort as facility managers to prevent accidents through maintenance, precautions, and prior guidance, we believe that a safe and enjoyable experience is built upon the understanding and considerate actions of each guest.
For this reason, we ask for your understanding and compliance with the following rules.

1. Cancellation of Use
   If you choose to cancel your stay for personal reasons, fees already paid will not be refunded.
2. Instructions from Management
   Please follow all instructions given by the campground management regarding facility use.
   If deemed necessary for safety reasons, management may request suspension of use or ask guests to leave the premises.
3. Accidents and Theft
   The campground management cannot accept responsibility for injuries, theft, or accidents caused by the negligence of guests.
4. Quiet Hours
   Please observe proper manners and avoid behavior that may disturb other guests.
   Especially after 8:30 PM, please be considerate, as some guests depart early in the morning for mountain climbing.
5. Lights-Out Time
   Lights-out time is 9:00 PM.
   After 9:00 PM, please help maintain a quiet and peaceful environment.
6. Garbage Disposal
   Tent users must complete garbage disposal by 9:00 PM and must not leave garbage inside or outside their tents.
   Cabin users must not leave garbage or food outside their cabins.
7. Food Storage
   All food and beverages (except water) must be stored in the designated food storage facility.
   Do not leave food inside or outside your tent.
8. Use of Fire
   Open fires and bonfires are strictly prohibited.
   Fire pits are not allowed.
   Firewood may only be used inside the cooking shelter.
9. BBQ
   To prevent attracting wildlife (bears, monkeys, and crows), BBQ is prohibited.
10. Smoking
    Smoking is prohibited throughout the campground, including inside tents and cabins.
    Please smoke only in designated areas.

Bear Safety
This campground is located in bear habitat.
For your safety, we encourage you to attend the bear safety lecture held at the Kamikochi Visitor Center.
